How a session runs
The Speak Easy hour
Every class follows the same rhythm, so the nervousness has nowhere to hide.
Warm-up circle
Ten minutes of light talk — weekend, weather, news. The point is to get your voice into the room before the pressure starts.
Concept of the day
One idea only: a tense, a sound, a set of connectors. Taught in five minutes, then handed straight back to you to use.
Drill and role play
Pairs and small groups. Shop counters, interviews, phone calls, introductions — the situations you will actually meet.
Stand and deliver
Each learner speaks to the whole room. Sixty seconds, no notes. This is the muscle everything else is training.
Kind correction
The trainer replays the common mistakes on the board — anonymously — and the room fixes them together.
Practice until next time
A short task in your Comfort handbook and a voice note to the batch WhatsApp group before the next session.

Learners typically feel the hesitation drop within three to four weeks of regular attendance. Full programmes run 24 to 40 sessions depending on the level. Attendance matters more than talent.
Explanations at the foundation levels use Tamil wherever it helps, and the speaking practice is always in English. As you move up the levels the Tamil support tapers off naturally.
